    Description

    A very s
carce if not rare 1945 WWII Victory Philippines handmade souvenir of seven different Japanese occupation money booklet.  This booklet was made the same year the Philippines were liberated by US forces in heavy fighting.  The seven Japanese notes from the just liberated Philippines include 1, 10 and 50 Centavos and 1, 5, 10 and 100 Peso notes.
The first page is a detailed hand written description of when the Japanese notes were used in the Philippines and ends with
“May God Bless America and the Philippines Forever”.
Each of the seven notes is securely placed on seven different pages as made in 1945.  The covers are cardboard and the front cover states
    "1945 VICTORY PHILIPPINES SOUVENIR”
The booklet is 8 x 3 5/8 inches in size.  The back cardboard cover has a couple light bends and otherwise the booklet is in nice condition.  The seven paper notes have some normal wear and light toning from use.
