    Description

    Original cabinet photo identified as "Glenn Wilder"  of the 32nd Michigan Company D. This is a very well known Company from Battle Creek Michigan.
    A very clear image of Wilder with great detail of his infantry cap and uniform.
    I was able to find several research items pertaining to Wilder. He was a very well known letter carrier in Battle Creek for many years, and passed away due to a car accident in 1930. There was an excellent article in the Battle Creek Enquirer in 1948, to honor Company D on the 50th anniversary.    The overall size of the photo (including mount) is 5-1/4 x 6-1/4. It is in VG condition. ONLY the photo is included in this sale, not the research items.
