    About the Seller
From art to fashion, this is Third Class Trash. Third Class Trash was created in 2019 as a venture to house unique art, vintage clothing and brand named labels. We chose the name Third Class Trash as a symbol of uniqueness, resilience, durability and sustainability, creating a social class all our own. Third Trash Class was birthed out of a personal life story of loss and determination. In 2005, creator, Linda March and her family, lost their home to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, forcing the purchase of a new-to-them home. Shortly thereafter in 2008, the economy realized a downfall and in 2012, Linda and family found themselves homeless again when they were forced to allow their family home to be foreclosed on. The family started over and was able to secure housing in a 1970's manufactured home, moving in the day before Hurricane Isaac hit the Louisiana Gulf Coast. The mobile home had everything you would expect a 1970's mobile home to have: a musty smell, shag carpet, mirrored walls, linoleum, built in murphy beds, decaying sub-flooring, mustard yellow bathtubs and a leaking roof. The home was in such a condition that the real-estate agent assisting the March's in securing a bond-for-deed purchase of the home claimed the March's had "pioneering spirits". Very few friends and family could see the vision the March family had. A vision of sustainable living in an older home. A vision of remaining classy and proud despite their living conditions and the losses they suffered previously. In an act of resilience and courage, the family began the process of creating a new life for themselves. Little did the family know, in many ways they were living a similar life recently portrayed by a popular television show. Today, Linda uses her life experiences and love for fashion, the arts and nature as inspiration for Third Class Trash, a class all it's own. We are not first class and we're not second class. We are Third Class: Resilient. Proud. Courageous. Trend starters. A little bit of class and a lot of edge. Romantic and loyal but also independent, spontaneous and free. Everything we create or source is done with the intention of adding value to life and maintaining a sustainable, renewable lifestyle. The clothing we offer is rare, vintage clothing with an occasional current label that has been manufactured within the last decade. Our original photography is printed on demand using archival (100 year lifespan) luster paper with the highest quality inks. In an effort to minimize shipping waste and maximize customer service, our photography is shipped directly from our lab to you. We hope you have enjoyed our story and look forward to you joining our mission of simple, sustainable living that is fashionable and unique.
