Project Problem Globe Denoyer Geppert, WWII military aircraft assistance-rare!!!

$ 57.55

Availability: 100 in stock
  • All returns accepted: ReturnsNotAccepted
  • Condition: Unfortunately it does have condition issues, perhaps correctable for the right person. There are numerous dents as easily seen. There is an indentation around the equator, where perhaps some stripping was there originally? Also, I don't know the significance of the painted areas? Structurally, it seems solidly on the base and is quite rugged metal.

    Description

    This huge (24+ inch diameter) globe is called a Project Problem globe made by Denoyer-Geppert Co of Chicago. I understand that these were used in WWII for aircraft navigation, though I don't know what that entailed. This is part of the many gauges we have purchased and have been selling off here in past month and in immediate future-stay tuned for these gauges which numerous people have been writing us about. Anyhow, Please read Condition Description and study pics. Please note that my auctions are always honest, which is why my stuff sells so cheap(sigh). One area to note is that in perfect shape, this is worth over 0, and I'm asking about a fifth of that, which means that there is a lot of money for resale, especially if one puts in a little TLC. I'm just asking for my initial investment money to break even- that's why it is so cheap!!!. That's it. Please support your local animal shelters. Thank you!
    PS Shipping charges are highly estimated. Should there be a large discrepancy in either direction, buyer and seller agree to work out differences equitably. This could be an issue for shipping to the west coast-like CALIFORNIA or other Region 6 areas(USPS jargon which translated= expensive).
