    This is a Great, Rare, Early 8th New York Infantry officer's military portrait printing block
    . This wonderful Old piece has a Great, Early look, features 14 officers in uniform, with Bell Crown hats, 2 with Swords, has an engraved metal plate on a wood block, measures approx. 7.25" x 4.75" x 1",
    is an Original, Vintage piece, from circa 1898, the Spanish-American War era, and is Rare to Find.
    Washington Greys
    : The 8th New York Infantry, also known as the "Washington Greys", was stationed out of New York City and served in the Civil War and Spanish-American War. During WWI, they became the 8th Coast Defense Command and protected NYC's harbors, as part of the US Army Coastal Artillery Corps.
    This appears to be in Very Good, Solid condition.
