    Description

    Up for auction is a real cotton boll with a composition head of a black baby's head sticking out of it. It has hand painted eyes and mouth. A ribbon tied around it's neck with a part of the original red and white banner. The banner reads COTTON BOLL BABY souvenir patent No. 110119. ls in old red pen Memphis, Tenn. The cotton and figure are in a great state of preservation given it's age. The hand written "Memphis, Tenn" is done with a fountain pen. I am sure the banner can be reattached to the figure, all appears present. The figure stands 2 3/4" tall 3" inches across. See photos for condition
