What you are bidding on is a very nice, vintage World Two U.S. Army Transmitter Tuning Unit, Model TU-25-A. This unit is S/N 1487.
Working condition of the unit is UNKNOWN, and you are buying it as such. Unit is in very good condition considering age. Exterior show typical dust, discoloration and slight rust from prolonger storage. Locking pins on the interion are removed, but all four are accounted for and could be reattached without extreme difficulty. One of the exterior locking pins is missing.
This would make a great display piece for any World War 2 historian, collector or military display.
