    DESCRIPTION:
    Very rare WWII German death card for a medic who was KILLED IN ACTION during the heavy fighting in NORMANDY, FRANCE DURING THE ALLIED D-DAY INVASION IN JUNE 1944. KIA NORMANDY D-DAY CARDS ARE AMONG THE HARDEST TO FIND.
    Specifically: "Michael Schneller, miller's son, soldier in a medical outfit, who was heroically killed in action during the heavy fighting in France on June 17, 1944, aged 19."

    Very nice looking card, in excellent condition overall.
    Original card, MORE THAN 75 years old, and a nice face and story to a very young soldier who otherwise would be a forgotten statistic.
