Description

WWI Original US Model 1917 Bayonet made by Winchester. This bayonet is knowns as a US Enfield or Eddystone. Bayonet measures 21-3/4" overall with a blade length of 17". Blade shows some nicks/chips on blade edge, shows age patina, wear, use, old sharpening. Right grip shows a tight crack running horizontally across. Socket has broken off of the guard. Excellent working press-stud, blade ricasso marked: "U.S. X F-4" with a flaming bomb in the center with what looks like a screaming arrow above the F-4. Opposite side marked, "1917 W" The W is in a circle. No scabbard. A nice piece with great potential. See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
